Itinerary (day wise)
Five nights across two cities: three in Dubai for the skyline, the souks and the desert, then two in Abu Dhabi, which is calmer and more cultural. On the drive between them we stop at the BAPS Hindu Mandir and time the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque for sunset, and you fly home from Abu Dhabi so there's no doubling back. It suits families with parents and children, and couples who want more than malls.
Day 1Arrive in Dubai (3 Nights)
About 25 km · 30–45 minutes by road
Your driver meets you at arrivals and takes you to your hotel; check-in is usually from 3 pm. After a rest, and perhaps a walk in the hotel's neighbourhood, you're collected for a two-hour dinner cruise on a traditional wooden dhow around Dubai Marina, past the lit-up towers of JBR and the Marina skyline. The buffet includes vegetarian dishes, and Jain food can be arranged with notice. Your transfer brings you back to the hotel after the cruise, ready for a full day tomorrow. Overnight in Dubai.
- Dubai Marina dhow dinner cruise
- Marina and JBR skyline

- Note: The dhow cruise is on a shared boat with other guests; private dhows are available on request.
Prafull’s tipTell us about Jain requirements before you travel; the cruise kitchen can prepare a separate plate with notice.
Dinner
Day 2Dubai: City Tour and Burj Khalifa
A private tour of Old Dubai with your guide and car: the wind-tower lanes of Al Fahidi, an abra ride across Dubai Creek, and the Spice and Gold Souks in Deira. Then photo stops at the Museum of the Future, Jumeirah Mosque and the Burj Al Arab, and a drive out along the Palm Jumeirah to Atlantis. After a rest at the hotel, you go up Burj Khalifa to 'At the Top' on levels 124 and 125, timed for sunset, so you see the city by day and lit up at night. The Dubai Fountain show follows below. Overnight in Dubai.
- Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood
- Abra ride on Dubai Creek
- Gold and Spice Souks
- Palm Jumeirah
- Burj Khalifa At the Top
- Dubai Fountain

- Note: The Dubai Fountain runs every 30 minutes in the evening, roughly from 6 pm to 11 pm.
Prafull’s tipSunset slots at Burj Khalifa sell out weeks ahead in winter; we book yours when you confirm the trip.
Breakfast
Day 3Dubai: Desert Safari
The morning is free for the pool, the Dubai Mall or the Dubai Frame. At about 3 pm a 4x4, shared with other guests, collects you for the drive out to the dunes. After a dune drive there's a short camel ride and a go at sandboarding, then sunset over the sand. At the desert camp you'll find henna, a tanoura dance and a fire show, with a barbecue buffet that includes vegetarian dishes. You're back at your hotel by about 9 pm; pack tonight, as you leave for Abu Dhabi tomorrow. Overnight in Dubai.
- Dune drive in a 4x4
- Camel ride
- Sandboarding
- Desert camp with tanoura and fire show

- Note: Dune driving is bumpy. Parents and anyone with back trouble can skip it and ride straight to camp; tell us in advance.
- Note: Optional: quad biking at the camp, approx. AED 150–250 per bike, paid locally.
Prafull’s tipWear closed shoes and carry a light jacket; desert evenings from December to February are cooler than you expect.
Breakfast & Dinner
Day 4Dubai – Abu Dhabi (2 Nights)
About 140 km · 1.5 hours by road
After breakfast you check out and drive south in your private car. On the way you stop at the BAPS Hindu Mandir at Abu Mureikha, the region's first traditional stone Hindu temple, carved by artisans in India and assembled here, with scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata on its pillars. You then check in at your Abu Dhabi hotel and rest. In the late afternoon you visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, timed for sunset, when the white marble turns gold and the lights come on across the courtyards. Overnight in Abu Dhabi.
- BAPS Hindu Mandir, Abu Mureikha
- Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
- Note: The BAPS Mandir is closed on Mondays and needs free online registration; carry your original passport. We register you and plan around Mondays.
- Note: The Grand Mosque is closed to visitors on Friday mornings. Women need an abaya and headscarf, men full-length trousers.
Prafull’s tipReach the mosque about an hour before sunset; you get the marble in daylight and the lights coming on.
Breakfast
Day 5Abu Dhabi
A morning at the Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island, where a vast perforated dome scatters light over the galleries and the sea laps at the walls; two to three hours covers the main collection, which runs from early civilisations to the present day. In the afternoon your car takes you to Yas Island for a theme park of your choice, such as Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World or Yas Waterworld, or simply the Yas Marina waterfront. The evening is free; families often stay on Yas, while couples might prefer the Corniche at dusk. Overnight in Abu Dhabi.
- Louvre Abu Dhabi
- Saadiyat Island
- Yas Island
- Ferrari World or Warner Bros. World
- Abu Dhabi Corniche

- Note: The Louvre Abu Dhabi is closed on Mondays; if your day falls on one, we swap in Qasr Al Watan palace.
- Note: Theme-park tickets start from approx. AED 300 per person and are not included.
Prafull’s tipThe Yas parks are mostly indoors, which makes them a good choice even on a warm afternoon.
Breakfast
Day 6Abu Dhabi – Departure
About 30 km · 30 minutes by road
Breakfast at the hotel and a relaxed morning: a walk on the Corniche, a swim, or a last stop for dates and Arabic sweets. Check-out is usually by noon; the hotel can hold your bags if your flight is later. Your driver collects you about three hours before departure for the short drive to Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi. Flying home from here saves you the 1.5-hour drive back to Dubai on your last day. Your holiday ends here.
- Abu Dhabi Corniche
Prafull’s tipAbu Dhabi's Terminal A is large; allow time to walk to your gate.
