Prafull's notes
- Meenakshi Temple's night ceremony, when the deity is carried to the bedchamber, is worth staying up for. We book your hotel within walking distance.
- At Rameswaram, the bath at the 22 theerthams inside the temple happens early morning. Bring a change of clothes; we arrange a local guide.
- Mysuru Palace is lit up on Sunday and public-holiday evenings. We try to put you there on one.

South India questions
How many days do you need for the Madurai–Rameswaram–Kanyakumari circuit?
Five nights is comfortable: one in Madurai, two in Rameswaram for Dhanushkodi and an early temple visit, and two in Kanyakumari for sunrise and sunset.
What should we wear to South Indian temples?
Modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees. Some temples ask men to wear a dhoti; we tell you in advance for each temple on your route.
Is this circuit good for senior citizens?
Yes. We arrange darshan timings, keep drives to about 3–5 hours and book hotels close to the temples to cut walking.
Can we combine the temple circuit with Kerala?
Yes. Kanyakumari is about 2.5 hours from Trivandrum, so it joins neatly with our Kerala journeys.
