Itinerary (day wise)

Seven nights for the deeper pilgrimage: Lucknow and the ancient forest shrines of Naimisharanya, Ayodhya, Prayagraj with a day at Chitrakoot, where Rama spent his exile, and two nights in Varanasi.

Day 1

Arrive in Lucknow; the city of the Nawabs

Your driver meets you at Lucknow airport or railway station with a Rudraksha mala. After some rest, see the city: Ambedkar Park on the Gomti, the Bara Imambara and its Bhulbhulaiya maze of passages, the ruins of the British Residency, besieged for months in 1857, the 60-foot Rumi Darwaza, built in 1784, and the Moti Mahal on the river. End the evening in the shops and eateries of Hazratganj.

Walk by the Saryu at Ram ki Paidi and visit the Nageshwarnath temple, said to have been founded by Rama's son Kush, and Kanak Bhawan, the palace believed to have been Kaikeyi's wedding gift to Sita.
