Itinerary (day wise)
Southern Rajasthan in a week: Udaipur's lakes, two cool nights in Mount Abu, and two in Jodhpur with a full day at Mehrangarh.
Day 1Arrive in Udaipur
Welcome to Udaipur. Your driver meets you at the railway station or airport and takes you to your hotel. In the evening, take a boat out on Lake Pichola (at your own cost) for the palaces along the water and the sunset.

Day 2Udaipur Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, a day around Udaipur: Fateh Sagar lake, the Maharana Pratap Memorial, a photo stop at Nehru Garden, Saheliyon-ki-Bari (the garden of the maids of honour), a drive past Sukhadia Circle, and Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum, with its folk costumes, jewellery, puppets and masks.

After breakfast, drive to Mount Abu and check in. In the evening, watch the sun go down from Sunset Point.

Day 4Mount Abu Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, a day around Mount Abu, Rajasthan's only hill station: the Brahma Kumaris centre, Adhar Devi Temple, Achalgarh, Guru Shikhar (the highest point of the Aravallis), the marble Dilwara Jain Temples, Honeymoon Point, the art gallery and Nakki Lake, where you can take a boat out (at your own cost).

Day 5Mount Abu – Jodhpur

Day 6Jodhpur Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, a full day in Jodhpur. Start at Umaid Bhawan Palace and its museum, then climb to Mehrangarh Fort on its sandstone hill, with the Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal inside. Visit Jaswant Thada, the marble cenotaph built in 1899 for Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, then Kaylana Lake and Mandore Garden. The evening is free.
