Three nights in Jaipur, the Pink City: a full day for Amber Fort, the City Palace and Hawa Mahal, and a day trip to Ajmer and Pushkar. The same hotel every night, so it's an easy first trip to Rajasthan.

Day 1

Arrive in Jaipur

Welcome to Rajasthan. Your driver meets you at Jaipur railway station or airport and takes you to your hotel. In the evening, you can add a visit to the white-marble Laxminarayan (Birla) Temple and dinner at Chokhi Dhani, a Rajasthani village resort (optional).

Day 2

Jaipur Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, a full day in Jaipur. Start at Amber Fort and Palace on its hill, see the royal cenotaphs at Gaitore from outside, and stop for photos at Jal Mahal, the palace in the lake. Then the City Palace and its museum, Jantar Mantar, the 18th-century observatory, and a photo stop at Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. The evening is free.

Day 3

Excursion to Ajmer / Pushkar

After breakfast, a full-day trip to Ajmer and Pushkar. In Ajmer, visit the Dargah Sharif of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, the Adhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra mosque and Ana Sagar Lake. Then on to Pushkar, 14 km away, a holy town of more than 400 temples and ghats around Pushkar Lake. Its best-known temple is dedicated to Lord Brahma, one of very few in India.

Departure from Jaipur

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Jaipur railway station or airport for your journey home.

When to go

October to March. Warm days and cool nights. April to June is very hot; the monsoon months are humid but Udaipur's lakes fill up.

Cancellation policy & payment terms

• Flights, trains and houseboats are paid in full at the time of ticketing or confirmation.
• Payments by bank transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS), UPI or cheque in favour of TripRoutes. Card payments may carry a convenience fee.
• GST 5% is charged on the package cost as per government rules. On international holidays, TCS also applies as per government rules.
• Cancellation charges are per person, counted from the date of departure.
• Cancellations must be sent in writing by email or WhatsApp; the date we receive it is the cancellation date.
• Air and train tickets are refunded as per the airline / railway rules, plus our service charge.
• Visa fees, insurance premiums and non-refundable hotel or houseboat bookings (peak dates, special events) are not refundable.
• Refunds are processed within 15 working days of receiving supplier refunds.
• There is no refund for services not used during the holiday.
• Hotels may ask for a refundable security deposit at check-in, paid directly to the hotel.
• Prices are subject to availability at the time of booking.
• TripRoutes is not liable for changes caused by weather, strikes, roadblocks, flight delays or government orders; extra costs arising are payable by the guest.
