Into the Thar Desert from Jodhpur: two nights in Jaisalmer for its golden fort and carved havelis, then two in Jodhpur below Mehrangarh Fort.
Day 1Arrive in Jodhpur – Jaisalmer

Welcome to Rajasthan. Your driver meets you at Jodhpur railway station or airport, and you drive west into the Thar Desert to Jaisalmer. On the way, stop at the Jaisalmer War Museum, 10 km before Jaisalmer on the Jodhpur highway, which honours the soldiers of India's wars.

Day 2Jaisalmer Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Jaisalmer Fort, built of golden sandstone, which is why it is called Sonar Qila, the Golden Fort. People still live inside its walls. Then the havelis: Patwon-ki-Haveli, Nathmal-ki-Haveli and Salim Singh-ki-Haveli, merchants' mansions with stone carved as finely as lace. End at Gadisar Lake.

Day 4Jodhpur Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, a full day in Jodhpur. Start at Umaid Bhawan Palace and its museum, then climb to Mehrangarh Fort on its sandstone hill, with the Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal inside. Visit Jaswant Thada, the marble cenotaph built in 1899 for Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, then Kaylana Lake and Mandore Garden. The evening is free.

- Cancellation charges are per person, counted from the date of departure.
- Cancellations must be sent in writing by email or WhatsApp; the date we receive it is the cancellation date.
- Air and train tickets are refunded as per the airline / railway rules, plus our service charge.
- Visa fees, insurance premiums and non-refundable hotel or houseboat bookings (peak dates, special events) are not refundable.
- Refunds are processed within 15 working days of receiving supplier refunds.
- There is no refund for services not used during the holiday.
